Colorado Resorts Reporting Snow

Several Colorado Ski Country USA resorts reported receiving snow last night and today. This is the first snow for many resorts in Colorado including Arapahoe Basin, Copper, Crested Butte, Loveland Ski Area, & Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort.
What:   The first night of fall brought fresh, September snow to Colorado Ski Country USA resorts. As temperatures drop, resorts are preparing to commence snowmaking soon.
When:  Thursday, September 23.
Where: Colorado Ski Country USA member resorts: Arapahoe Basin, Crested Butte, Copper, Loveland Ski Area and Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort.
Why:     Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) and its 22 member resorts are gearing up for another great season in Ski Country, with five resorts already welcoming snow to their mountains. Mother Nature beat the snow-makers this year, as early snowfalls signal the start of another great Colorado winter. Man-made snow will start falling soon enough as well, with many resorts eagerly awaiting the right conditions to start up their snowmaking machines
